WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY AWARDS 2019
Sponsored by Spilman Thomas & Battle, the awards program recognizes individuals, organizations or programs that have devoted a significant amount of time, energy or resources to making a positive impact on the community.
“The We Love Our Community Awards recognize the people and organizations who are making significant contributions to the community through their time, actions, talents and dedication,” said Susie Salisbury, the Alliance’s vice president of community development. “The honorees serve as role models for service and continually strive to make the Kanawha Valley a better place.”
People and organizations were presented with pieces of art from Jack O’Hearn, a local artist.
Award recipients range widely, from outstanding preservation and development projects, to groundbreaking community celebrations and those making a positive impact on the quality of life of the community.
